NYC and The Family

The Metropolitan Museum of Art--Outside.

Alternate Annoyance Method:
When shown a landmark noted for its age, say, "200 years?  Is that all?  I've got houses on my block older than that!"

How to annoy the Americans:
When shown a landmark noted for its size, such as the Empire State Building, eye it up and down and say, "Is that it?  I thought it would be bigger."

We happened to be in the City on the 23rd of April, which, in addition to being St. George's Day, is Shakespeare's Birthday.  Someone even brought him a dozen roses to celebrate the occasion.
*Originally, I had this up as St. Andrew's Day, because I'm an American and I don't know any better.

How to annoy the Irish Americans:
On the 23rd of April., go into any Irish Pub and loudly proclaim, "Happy St. George's Day!"

Meeting The Family:
My Step-mom, Helen (or Tootie), my dad, Melvin (or Bud), my sister, Melinda (or Tilly), my brother, Matthew (or Muscles), Shonagh, me, Becky, Matt's Wife (all bereft of nicknames).

Late Arrivals:
My other brother, Marc, his wife Wendy and daughter Moriah.

All of us together.  There is just one missing, our little sister Michele who lives in Plattsburg, NY.
