![]() It was raining and cool when we arrived, then turned beastly hot during the first week--up into the high 90's. Then, the second week, it snowed. Here are some SUNY students taking advantage of the unseasonably warm weather by sunbathing and playing, of all things, Cricket.
![]() Naturally, we visited the Rockefeller Plaza. At one end is the ultra-modern Museum building. |
![]() At the other end is the ultra-ornate Capitol Building.
![]() At the south end of Lake George. I had never seen it so hot, yet with so few people about. |
![]() One of our nice surprises. Out in the middle of nowhere in Vermont was an art gallery. We stopped just to look at the sculptures that were outside, since the place was closed, but a man came along and opened it up for us. Inside, it was truly amazing.
![]() A quick visit to Saratoga Springs State Park. It was 95 degrees that day so we only took a short walk. After this, Shonagh bought herself a tee shirt and we found a nice bar with air conditioning. |
