SCOTLAND

Last year, I was at the Scottish Festival in Altamont, NY, this year, I'm in Scotland!
 I have to admit, in Altamont, I saw a whole lot more
Scottish culture than I did in six days in Scotland, but still . . .

Along the highways there are many places for gawking tourists to pull over to take photographs of the stunning scenery.  One of them overlooks a secret navel base where American sub sometimes dock.  Well, at least it used to be secret. 
      

Panoramas like this are everywhere.  Looks a lot like the Adirondack, eh?
