Taking the Big Step

On 1 March 2002, after quitting my job, giving up my apartment and selling or packing up all my worldly goods, I boarded a plane and left the Us for good.
    

My last sight of my native land.

 

 

 
Crawley, West Sussex, my new home.
  
 
This is where we're living until we can find a place of our own.

 

 

 
The local shops.
   
 
Naturally.

 

 

 
The weather is more mild here than in the States, and it is decidedly pretty.  I think I'll stay.
