" . . .enter stage left when the fiddler starts his solo,
turn on one, step on two, spin on three . . ."

   

" . . . make a half step on four, hands up, down on five,
shuffle step on six, seven and exit stage left on eight.

Pensive moments.
The above, supposed dialogue was meant as a joke, but it was incredible to hear the complex instructions thrown at these young ladies just hours before the show.  They displayed a confidence and calm professionalism that amazed me, and, of course, they pulled it off with hardly a hitch.  They were a great bunch and I still miss them.
