Land's End, as the name implies, is the end of the land. The most westerly point in England,
it was, for years, little more than an interesting point along the Southwest Coast Path.
Now it's a theme park.

The 'First and Last House' is still, thankfully, isolated and not part of the theme park's complex.

View from Land's End. You can see why it's such a huge draw.

Meanwhile, back in the theme park . . .

The 'First and Last Postbox' has been retired; you have to mail your post cards in the gift shop inside the theme park.

The world famous sign that everyone has their picture taken standing next to. Or, at least they used to. These days, it is cordoned off by a fence and you have to pay to have a professional photographer take your 'souvenir photo' for you. How incredibly
naff.

As you can see, I thwarted them and managed to get a photo of myself standing next to the sign. And if didn't cost me
tuppence.
